HOW TO RESERVE SUP RENTALS?
RESERVE ONLINE
Reserve online at any time to guarantee availability and speed up the pick-up process! Sign our online waiver ahead of time to save extra time! We recommend reserving online 24-48 hours in advance for weekends, and 72 hours in advance for Holiday Weekends.
SUMMER RENTAL OPERATIONS FAQ:
For 2023, only our Union Square location is open for summer operations. This location will be offering SUP Rental and Kayak Rental, as well as sells both New and Used Inflatable Stand-Up Paddleboards.

We rent Inflatable Stand-Up Paddleboards (SUP) and Inflatable Kayaks. We are proud to carry SUP Boards from HyperLite and STAGE. Our Kayaks are provided by Advanced Elements.
Absolutely! Monday thru Saturday you can pick-up after 4pm and not be charged for that day. Sundays we close early, so we allow you to pick up after 3pm.
Yes! Drop off your rental between 9am – 11am the morning after to not be charged an additional day.
Sadly we do not offer roof racks for sale or for rental! We offer easy to transport inflatable SUP & Kayaks that come rolled up with all their accessories inside a backpack that is about 3′ long & 2′ wide. (Kayak bags are about 4′ long & 3′ wide depending on the model). Typically most cars can fit 2-3 in their trunk space!
No, we do not. Our full Summer Rental catalog includes: Inflatable Stand-Up Paddle Boards (SUP), Inflatable Kayaks (Single & Tandem).
SUP RENTAL FAQ:
No, we only carry inflatable SUP boards. However, many people have the wrong impression of inflatables. Our inflatables use 6″ drop-stitch construction inside of them as well as reinforced by 2-ply Military Grade PVC. When inflated to proper PSI (12-15psi) this makes the boards as stiff and stable as any hard board, while still being easy to transport and lightweight. (Our Kayaks are all inflatable too!)
We rent Inflatable Stand-Up Paddleboards (SUP) and Inflatable Kayaks. We are proud to carry SUP Boards from HyperLite and STAGE. Our Kayaks are provided by Advanced Elements.
All of our SUP’s go to 15 PSI max. Usually 10 – 12 PSI is perfect for most adventures. The 3 Chamber Boards (X10 ) go to 15 PSI max in the Main Body, the side chambers only go to 3 – 5 PSI max.
Every SUP rental includes:
(1) Carrying Backpack, (1) 3-PC Aluminum SUP Paddle, (1) Hand Pump, (1) Attachable Fin (No tool req’d!), (1) 10′ Ankle Leash, (1) Type 3 PFD (Life Jacket).
Our optional insurance covers repairs on inflatable SUP rentals. It includes fixing damages like punctures up to 2″ and issues with D-Rings, Tie-Downs, or straps. However, it doesn’t cover irreparable damages, lost, stolen or missing parts, damages to accessories, or damages caused by extreme dirtiness or neglect.
The optional SUP damage insurance is $3/day per board.
Every paddleboard includes a high-efficiency hand pump that allows you to quickly inflate and deflate your board to the desired PSI.
It depends on the model you rent:

• STAGE S10 Expedition 1034 (10’x34″x6″) – 300lbs
• STAGE S10 Expedition 10.6 (10’6″x34″x6″) – 300lbs
• STAGE S10 Journey (10’x32″x6″) – 260lbs
• STAGE Y10 Yoga (10’8″x34″x6″) – 300lbs
• STAGE S9 Cruiser (9’x31″x6″) – 200lbs
• STAGE J8 Cruiser (8’x30″x6″) – 150lbs
No, we do not require a security deposit; but we do require you to place a credit card on file. We will not charge this card unless you don’t bring back equipment or bring back damaged equipment.
Yes, you can rent multiple SUPs at once. If you’re renting 10+ boards feel free to email us at manager@ajmotionsports.com for exclusive group pricing.
Generally we do not offer this kind of service, however if you renting a large amount of boards for an event, we might be able to fulfill this request. Please email at manager@ajmotionsports.com to learn more.
Simply let us know when you return and we can charge you the cost of replacement. If you pay for a lost part and find it later, simply return the part for a refund.
